Jarman and Soltis speak out: The future of the iSeries
Jarman and Soltis speak out: The future of the iSeries: "A future for the iSeries is not a question for loyalists within IBM. Why? Because the iSeries produces technologies that IBM relies on for innovation and growth for all of its hardware, software, and middleware platforms. Processor chips (Power5), the Blue Gene/L supercomputer, hypervisor technology, and virtualization, for example, have all stemmed from development for the iSeries platform, and now many of the products that IBM offers utilize these features and functionalities."
