Installing Mambo on Linux

• Downloaded Mambo from 4.5 from http://mamboforge.net/frs/?group_id=137&release_id=663
• unzipped and copied to /var/www/html, then renamed to mambo
• navigated browser to http://localhost/mambo
• Got unavailable on xml support and mysql support
• downloaded mysql (urpmi mysql)
• restart apache (service httpd stop, service httpd start)
• next, clicked aggreement, next
• setup user and database in mysql
• setup configuration.php
• navigated browser to http://localhost/mambo
• done!
