What Java developers have to know about databases
What Java developers have to know about databases: "When you are a Java developer you are usually NOT expected to master database administration, after all, 'it is a DBA job'. But on the other side you are expected to master Jdbc and SQL, and often more like PL/SQL, understand how to avoid naive queries, how to optimize searches... This raises the question: what Java developers have to know about databases ? "
